Hello there! I’m Dr. Gjergj Mara, and I am delighted to join the amazing team at Betancur Orthodontics!
My path to orthodontics has been a unique journey shaped by a deep appreciation for people and cultures. I have grown up in three countries and speak five languages - English, Spanish, Greek, Albanian, and Italian!
I love connecting with people from all walks of life. That passion for connection and learning naturally led me to the world-renowned University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.). From there, I headed south to specialize in orthodontics as a proud Ortho Gator at the University of Florida, and achieved Board Certification.
Over the years, most recently treating thousands of patients and transforming smiles across Northwest Florida, I’ve remained dedicated to delivering exceptional, highly personalized care. For me, orthodontics is about empowering confidence, and serving every family with dedication.
Outside of the clinic, I am committed to personal growth, mindful living, and continuous learning. Whether I’m diving into timeless philosophy or practicing empathetic communication at gatherings with friends and family, I strive to bring intention and warmth to everything I do. Most of all, I cherish quality time with my wife and daughter.
